Notary Now!
Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on August 8, 2025
We at Notary Now are working to make our site Notary Now at www.Notarynow.info accessible to people with disabilities.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
Notary Now! is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We strive to make our website and services accessible and usable by everyone, including individuals using assistive technologies.
We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines and have made the site accessible to the level of AA. This means our website meets the recommended standards for contrast, navigation, readability, and compatibility with screen readers and keyboard-only controls.
-
As part of this effort, we have also:
-
Enabled alternative text for all images and icons
-
Ensured form fields are properly labeled for screen readers
-
Made keyboard navigation accessible throughout the site
-
Structured content using semantic HTML for better readability and comprehension
-
Regularly audit the site for accessibility issues and implement improvements
The accessibility of certain pages on this site depends on content that is provided by third-party services, which are not under our full control. As a result, we declare partial compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards for those pages.
Affected Third-Party Content:
-
Wix Booking Form (used on the Contact Page)
-
Embedded Google Maps (on the Service Area and Contact pages)
-
Social Media Feeds or Embedded Posts (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, if applicable)
We are actively working to find accessible alternatives or encourage our third-party vendors to improve their accessibility standards.
Notary Now! is a fully mobile notary service based in Long Beach, CA, and does not operate a walk-in public office or physical storefront. All services are delivered directly to the client’s location, including homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, offices, correctional facilities, or public meeting spots such as libraries or coffee shops.
As a traveling notary, we strive to accommodate clients with disabilities by:
-
Providing services at accessible locations upon request
-
Offering to meet at ADA-compliant public spaces when needed
-
Communicating via phone, email, or text to arrange a location that fits your mobility or sensory needs
-
Bringing portable writing surfaces for those unable to use a table or countertop
If a location presents accessibility challenges (e.g., stairs with no ramp, limited seating, or poor lighting), we will make every effort to adjust the meeting location to ensure comfort and accessibility for all parties involved.
At this time, we do not provide audio induction loops or elevators, as there is no physical storefront to equip. However, we are happy to work with caretakers, legal representatives, or medical staff to facilitate services with respect and dignity.
